Kylie Minogue has announced she will perform at Sydney’s Mardi Gras Parade this year.

“I simply cannot wait, and it’s going to be a beautiful way to celebrate 25 years of this relationship,” she announced at her official website.

Kylie last appeared at the Mardi Gras 14 years ago in 1998.

NSW Minister for Tourism, Major Events and The Arts, George Souris said “The presence of Kylie Minogue is sure to make this the biggest and best Sydney Mardi Gras ever.”

The Gay and Lesbian community will honour Kylie with her own K25 float paying tribute to her 25 years in the music business and her support of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex community.
