‘It’s just exciting getting everyone in the room to make some noise.’

Their last album Day & Age came out back in 2008.

The Vegas singer added it was good to be back in the bosom of his three bandmates Metro reveal.

‘It’s quite a bit louder than with my solo thing, so I’ve got to get used to that,’ he said of his return. As for what was in store for their loyal and patient fans, Flowers said the group was sticking to the golden rule: ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’.

The 30-year-old also told Radio 1: ‘I think the consensus within the band is to take those things that we’ve done well and really hone in on that.’
