2012 is set to be another exciting year for the music industry, so here are a few of my own personal 'ones to watch' over the next 12 months.
Katie Sky:
22 year old Katie Sky is a Bristol based singer/songwriter. I heard her debut single, "Sweet Sweet Melody" by accident recently while searching the TV music channels for some festive tunes!!
Sweet Sweet Melody is one of my top tracks from 2011. It deserved to be a big hit.......it still can be with your help, in 2012.
Katie has real talent and a likeable personality. The two together, along with the promotion from her Manchester based LAB Records in 2012 should help her come into the limelight.

Rossi Noise:
Rossi Noise are a 5 piece band from Newcastle. Heavy in beats with dub influences, fusing Dupstep, Dance, Drum and Bass, Hip Hop and Rock into cinematic proportions.
In just 6 months, Rossi Noise have received increased local attention, tipped as one of next years big acts by music development agency Generator and have just aired on BBC6 Music with new track 'Knives'.
They have also been invited to Abbey Road and the Maida Vale studios by the BBC in January.

ReConnected:
ReConnected are Harry Mondryk, Max Mondryk and Matthew Fitzgerald. The young boyband were finalists of Britain's Got Talent in 2010 and have been gigging and working on new material ever since.
I have seen these lads perform live now on 3 occasions and I have to say there isn't much out there better than them. The harmonies and vocals are faultless.
Their debut single is scheduled for release in early 2012 via RKA Records.

JANET DEVLIN:
I officially promoted Janet via her family during her stint on X Factor and I have very high hopes for her in 2012.
A unique voice, with a real passion for singing. Her goal being to release and perform her own music. Janet has it all and I think by this time next year she will be huge.

And here is one name from the 90's making a comeback in 2012.
911
Between 1995 & 1999, boyband 911 had 10 top ten hits including a number 1. In 2012 the lads will be releasing a new album and they are already booked to tour Asia and possibly the UK.
911 are Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable and Spike Dawbarn and with some decent material and the ever growing nostalgia fad the lads could find themselves back in the top 10 again.
