Watch: The Recently Found 1973 David Bowie Performance From Top of the Pops.

The once thought long erased performance by David Bowie of Jean Genie from Top of the Pops has been released to the public.

At the time of the broadcast, the BBC was known for erasing tapes of the shows after they aired but this one made it through in the hands of a collector.

Be forewarned, the music video doesn't start until twenty seconds in.
