The UK's No.1 rapper Professor Green is midway through his UK headline tour and Gatecrasher has the privilege of throwing the official afterparty for his Birmingham show.
The 'Just Be Good To Green' rapper is fresh from the sold-out arena crowd across the UK and he’s been wowing crowds joining Emeli Sande on stage for a performance of their joint single 'Read All About It'.
Following the success of his debut double-Gold album, ‘Alive Till I’m Dead’, Professor Green is set to reaffirm his status as the nation’s most inventive rapper and distinctive wordsmith, with the release of his second album, ‘At Your Inconvenience’, and the announcement of his biggest ever Headline UK tour for 2012.
After winning an avalanche of freestyle rap battles and surviving a false start with Mike Skinner’s ill-fated The Beats label, 27-year-old Green struck pop-rap gold in 2010 with his Alive Till I’m Dead album and the Lily Allen-bolstered Just Be Good to Green single. The album featured guest vocals from Lily Allen, Emeli Sandé, Fink, Labrinth and Example, as well as The Streets.
Professor Green's second album is titled At Your Inconvenience and was released on 31 October 2011. The title track "At Your Inconvenience" was played by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 on 13 July 2011. That track was released as a promotional single only. The first official single "Read All About It" which features vocals from Emeli Sandé was released on 23 October 2011.On The 30th October it reached number 1.
