Absolute Radio and Hard Rock Cafe have today announced You Me At Six will be performing an intimate session at the Hard Rock Cafe London as part of the iconic restaurant’s 40th Anniversary celebrations.

Hailing from Weybridge in Surrey, the five-piece band formed in 2004 during their adolescent years. Their collective ambition led them to the first taste of success with their debut album ‘Take Off Your Colours’. However, it was the release of the second studio album, ‘Hold Me Down’ in 2010, which saw the band making musical waves. Debuting at number 5 in the UK charts, the record reached one of the highest chart positions for any rock band that year.

This year has seen You Me At Six crowned the Best British Band by Kerrang! Magazine followed by the release their third album ‘Sinners Never Sleep’ their highest debut at number 3. Produced by the man behind albums from Biffy Clyro and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the third rock helping from the group includes Top 40 hit ‘Loverboy’ and upcoming single ‘Bite My Tongue’.

Absolute Radio DJ Pete Donaldson will be announcing details of the gig live on Absolute Radio and said, “You Me At Six have already made a name for themselves as a solid British rock band. Their first two records were fantastic, and ‘Sinners Never Sleep’ is set to be another huge hit for the group.
