Will.I.Am gets Jagger and J.Lo on first solo single

Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am releases his first solo single with guests spots from Mick Jagger and Jennifer Lopez.

‘T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)’ is the first solo single for the multi-platinum uber-producer, but he does have a little help from his super-famous friends.

It’s the toughest thing he’s done for a while, referencing GZA of the Wu-Tang’s Liquid Swords album and seemingly channeling the gritty sounds of Tinie Tempah or the new Watch The Throne album.

J.Lo is on the hook, and Mick Jagger drops in at the end with a barked, half-rapped verse that could almost be Lil Jon.

The tune is from his debut solo album #willpower, which will be released next year.

A video has been shot in London and LA by Rich Lee, who has done clips for the Black Eyed Peas, Eminem and David Guetta.
