Singing sensation David McAlmont and his long time friend and musical partner, talented musician Guy Davies, have formed a new band: FINGERSNAP!
Not only have they decided on a new name, but they have produced a debut EP of four stunning new songs, written and performed by the duo and their band members, which will be released on 14th November 2011.
Soon, new UK tour dates will be announced and today the stylish new website will be revealed, with the new songs as well as intimate filmed glimpses of David and Guy’s performances and key moments from their collaborative journey. A new FINGERSNAP album will be released early next year.
I Wanna Rise is the lead track from the EP that also features the upbeat Some Kind of Masterpiece, the haunting Mister and The Bishop of New Hampshire, a controversial tribute to Gene Robinson.
The release of the Smokehouse EP will be supported by dates throughout the UK in November and December, including The Riverside, Newcastle on 10th November and The Jazz Café, London on 20th November.
