Following the addition of seven more dates to their headline UK tour due to popular demand and a hugely successful support tour of Europe with The Kooks, Morning Parade are set to team up with Time Out magazine for an exclusive live album playback show on the 8th December at London’s Barfly.
The intimate show will be a one-off, premiere of the band’s self-titled debut album, played from start to finish for the first time to a small number of lucky fans. The show is part of Time Out Live; a series of unique, immersive and unmissable events, curated by Time Out.
Morning Parade are set to release Us and Ourselves on 28th November which will be the first single from their highly anticipated debut record due out in March 2012. The release will follow a quickfire headline UK tour taking in Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham, Southampton and finally Manchester.
The band are currently in Europe playing with Friendly Fires, Miles Kane and Foster the People on the infamous Les Inrocks tour before supporting The Kooks on their final European date at Amsterdam’s Heineken Music Hall.
Since causing waves of excitement with the release of their limited edition single Under the Stars in November 2010, the band have toured with the likes of 30 Seconds to Mars and The Wombats, supported Biffy Clyro at Ibiza Rocks and shared a stage with Coldplay at Rock am Ring. They recently sold out London’s Scala as part of their September sold out UK headline tour and have just put the finishing touches to their phenomenal sounding debut album, produced by David Kosten.
