Green Day perform new song Carpe Diem

Green Day performed a brand new song called 'Carpe Diem' at a secret show in San Francisco earlier this week.

The band performed on Tuesday, November 1 at the Mezzanine.

Green Day have a lot of new songs for their next album written but they are yet to start recording. One is a tribute to Amy Winehouse called 'Amy'.

Since 2000, Green Day have released three albums 'Warning' (2000), 'American Idiot' (2004) and '21st Century Breakdown' (2009).
