The sun may be setting on the career of R.E.M., but they are making sure to throw in one more eclectic moment.

The group has released two videos for the new single We All Go Back Where We Belong from their upcoming career retrospective Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage, 1982-2011.

In both videos, the subject sits in front of the camera, shot from the shoulders up and just reacts to something in the room with the entire video being a single shot.

In the first, actress Kirsten Dunst seems to go through a series of emotions and, a couple of times, seems to be talking to someone else in the room. In the second, performance artist John Giorno sits stoically for almost the full 3:30, only cracking a smile at the end.
