Ahead of the release of their singles collection album 'National Treasures' on 31st October, Manic Street Preachers have unveiled a fantastic new biography, whereby each of the 38 singles on the album have been individually narrated by a collection journalists, public figures and personalities.
These figures include Phill Jupitus, Michael Sheen, Caitlin Moran, 6Music DJs Stuart Maconie and Steve Lamacq, Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers, DJ and Producer Erol Alkan, and MD of Columbia Records; Mike Smith, amongst many more.
The biography shares stories behind the singles and some of the experiences of those who've supported the band through their decade spanning music career. To celebrate the release of 'National Treasures' the band will play a unique, once in a lifetime Christmas party at the O2 Arena in London. The band promise "Glitter, glamour, special guests and a ticker-tape celebration. A never to be repeated one-off visual experience encompassing 21 years of MSP with 38 songs – from 1990's 'Motown Junk' to (but not in order!) 2011's 'This Is The Day'.
