Jennifer Lopez and her estranged husband Marc Anthony are reportedly still living together.
The couple announced they were splitting up in July after seven years of marriage.
But although Jennifer reportedly went on a date with Bradley Cooper over the weekend and is trying to move on with her life, Marc is still spending nights in their Los Angeles home.
Star magazine claims the American Idol judge and the Latin singer are still spending a lot of time together.
“Jennifer is telling people she’s washed her hands of Marc, but that simply isn’t the truth,” a source told the publication.
“Their L.A. home is Marc’s base whenever he’s in California and there have been multiple occasions when he and Jennifer have stayed there together. He feels it’s as much his home as it is hers.”
The insider says Marc is still holding out hope that he and Jennifer can get back together as a family with their three-year-old twins Max and Emme.
“Marc’s still crazy about JLo, and it’s part of his plan to win her back,” the source said. “He feels that any time he can spend close to her just gives him more of a chance to patch things up.”
“Jennifer knows she’s being weak by not putting her foot down about his spending the night, but she can’t help herself. Despite all his bad traits, Jennifer says no one has ever taken care of her the way Marc has.”
But their nights together may soon be coming to an end because the 42-year-old has apparently secretly put the Hidden Hills home on the market.
“It’s an under-the-radar ‘pocket listing’ which gives her the chance to see if anyone will come back with a worthy offer,” a real estate insider said about the 17,000sq. ft. mansion.
“Even if Jennifer gets a huge offer for the property, I can’t see Marc going along with selling it. He knows it could mean the end of his sleepovers – and any chance of him saving their marriage,” the insider added.
