Paris Hilton is working towards being the “Queen of house music”.

The 30-year-old heiress recently revealed she is launching a fresh assault on the music charts, following the release of her self-titled debut album in 2006.

Paris has now said she’s working with some of the biggest DJs in the industry in a quest to become “the most powerful female house music DJ of all time”.

The star has reportedly been shadowing music maestros across the globe, including Afrojack and Deadmau5. The blonde heiress is hoping to gain some practical knowledge before unveiling her upcoming house music album.
“Hilton believes she can become the ‘Queen of house music’ because no woman has ever taken over in that arena ... and she wants to become that person,” a source told TMZ.

The website reports Paris is hoping to release the album before the end of the year.

Paris took to her Twitter page at the end of last month to update her fans on her venture into the charts. She revealed that she has been in French city Paris recording new material.

The star - who also boasts clothing, fragrance and cosmetics lines – has been working hard on perfecting her upcoming tracks.

“In the studio recording the sickest song with one of the most amazing producers! So exciting! Loves it! Huge! :),” she wrote.

“It's 5:20am here in Paris and I'm still in the studio recording! Obsessed with my newest song! So sick! #HouseMusicRules (sic).”
