Simon Cowell has been branded the neighbour from hell.
The X Factor judge is currently in the middle of remodelling his Beverly Hills mansion but the work is reportedly taking a toll on those living close by.
The constant mess and noise that emits from the lavish pad is proving too much for residents of the 90210 zip code.
“There are workmen all over and garbage is left everywhere!” a housekeeper for a neighbour’s family told Star magazine.
“They have more than a hundred workmen, so that means we have five food wagons parked in the street every day,” another resident griped.
Simon is known to be very much a charmer and is apparently trying to placate those who live near him with bribery.
“He has tried to cool his neighbours down in the past by giving them free American Idol tickets or buying them massages, but his charm has worn off,” a source said. “This time, they’re planning a petition to get him to stop.”
Although some neighbours have complained to the Beverly Hills Police Department, it has not helped.
“The city hasn’t done anything because it’s Simon Cowell. But the construction is never ending,” another insider moaned.
“He ripped out the windows and bathrooms only to do it all over again, and he pulled out and replanted his trees three times. He’s an absolute maniac.”
