Leona Lewis doesn’t care if she’s seen as “boring”.

The 26-year-old British songstress shot to international fame after winning the UK edition of The X Factor. She has gone on to enjoy success with her unique brand of soulful pop.

Leona is renowned for not giving much away in interviews, and has earned a reputation of being quite a reserved character.

The star is happy to be seen as shy and retiring.

“I'd rather be seen as boring than a harsh, brash person. It doesn't bother me,” she confessed.

Leona says hit show The X Factor was a great platform for her music career. The stunning star insists she has changed a lot since she won.

"I've come a long way since then and I've grown as a performer, as a singer, everything,” she told Rollacoaster magazine.

"I was in that weird teenage-adult stage for a long time, making decisions that perhaps weren't right. But I've realised in the last couple of years that I have grown up and I know myself so much more."

Leona recently unveiled her new comeback single Collide, which is a collaborative dance-inspired track with Swedish DJ Avicii.
