Courtney Love talked about how “beautiful” her daughter is during a performance this week.
Courtney has one child, 19-year-old Frances Bean Cobain, with the late Kurt Cobain. During a performance earlier this week for One Model Management’s 10-year anniversary party, Courtney gushed about how gorgeous Frances has become.
“How beautiful is my daughter?” Courtney asked the audience according to Stylite.com. “Did you see that photoshoot from, like, last week? I’m so glad she never got that nose job.”
Frances was featured in two striking editorials by photographers Hedi Slimane and Rocky Schenck that were released to the public in August.
Many critics in the fashion and entertainment world talked about how gorgeous Frances looked in the images and some have dubbed her a new “It Girl”.
“Ugh, I didn’t like how they called her an ‘It Girl.’ It’s tacky. It’s not like she’s gonna do Nylon,” Courtney told the Observer recently.
Courtney jokingly dedicated the song Skinny Little B*tch to her “only f**king child” in the middle of her show. She ended the performance seductively unbuttoning her vintage black vest.
“So, my first piece of swag was this vest by Calvin Klein. 1990,” Courtney said as she pulled her vest open. “It still fits.”
Courtney and daughter Frances have been estranged since 2009. Custody of Frances was taken from Courtney that year and given to her paternal grandmother Kimberly Cobain.
