Beyonce Knowles will not perform live during the Michael Jackson tribute show, it has been claimed.

Last week, a representative for the singer insisted her pregnancy “wouldn’t affect” her involvement with the concert. However, fans have been left shocked after it emerged Beyoncé will no longer sing via a live satellite link-up.

“Beyoncé won’t be performing a song live via satellite for the tribute concert now,” a source told RadarOnline.

According to the Ticketmaster website, the 29-year-old will be making "a special contribution on video" instead.

Beyoncé was scheduled to perform a Jackson 5 tune in honour of the ‘King of Pop’ during the concert next month.

Some members of the Jackson family have also revealed they will not be attending.

Janet, Randy and Jermaine are boycotting the event because it is being held during Dr. Conrad Murray’s trial for involuntary manslaughter.

Other big names lined up to appear include Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, Leona Lewis and Ne-Yo.

The concert is being staged in Cardiff, Wales, on October 8.

Jackson fans are believed to be angry after paying the full ticket price and discovering promoters are offering two for one deals on seats.
