Snoop Dogg dressed a “minion” in a dog suit and had him perform on stage over the weekend.
The American rapper performed a special DJ set at the Electric Zoo event on Randall's Island, New York City. He appeared under the name DJ Snoopadelic and was keen to give the crowd the best show possible.
As part of that, he arranged some special entertainment for them.
“Snoop brought his own party animal, NastyDog — a caged minion in a dog suit — onstage,” reports New York Post.
The show was staged on Saturday and was a huge hit with dance music fans. Around 85,000 are thought to have attended, with David Guetta and Moby also appearing.
Snoop was thrilled with the turnout, and with how his set went down with the audience. He played a variety of different genres and insists he was the standout performer.
“Dj snoopadelic was the dj of d nite wit a hot 45mn set that felt like a hr or 2 of great music pop roc rap soul n funk all n 1! Hot sh*t (sic),” he wrote on Twitter.
