Alice Cooper and his band of freaks are taking back Halloween... WITH ADDED FIRE !!!!

Alice Cooper has announced that following last year's successful reclamation of London's Halloween celebrations with his 2 nights at Camden's Roundhouse, this year he will go even bigger and better.

Alice and his loyal fans, friends and assorted freaks will be descending on the capital's Alexandra Palace on 29th October to entertain and shock the nation.

This year, Alice has invited the ‘god of hellfire’ to join him, the incredible, ‘crazy’ Arthur Brown. The man who first set his head on fire in the name of rock n roll, Arthur and his band ‘The Crazy World of Arthur Brown” were to the 1960s what Alice was to the 1970s – the realization of a whole new possibility in music, the chance to bring theatre, shock and awe into the live performance. His 1968 Number 1 ‘Fire’ and it’s proclamation “I am the god of hellfire and I bring you FIRE!’ had a massive influence on Alice and a generation.

“We have a fire theme this year and we’re in the UK - I couldn’t NOT invite Arthur Brown,” says Alice, “This is a guy who set his head on fire on TV. Can you imagine the young Alice Cooper watching that with all his make-up and hellish performance? It was like all my Halloweens come at once! He was like Screaming Jay Hawkins on….Fire!””

New album Welcome 2 My Nightmare, the sequel to 1975’s classic Welcome To My Nightmare will be released prior to the gigs, in September. Once again produced with Bob Ezrin, it will feature in the new shows. The original spawned a worldwide, full theatrical tour so expect Alice's comic book cruelty to be taken up a notch.
