Katy Perry has a feeling her fans in Mexico will be her best audience yet.

The American songstress is currently on the road with her California Dreams Tour, in support of her highly-successful third studio album Teenage Dream.

The tour began in February and has visited Europe, Australia, Japan and North America. The 26-year-old star took to her Twitter page to reveal her excitement ahead of the shows in South America.

“My mexican fans might rival all others... They are LOCO in the best way!!! #katycats (sic),” she wrote.

“But we'll see... I'll FINALLY be in South America soon!!!”

Meanwhile, Katy has been enjoying the sites South America has to offer. The stunning singer posted a picture of herself in front of the famous Teotihuacan pyramids in Mexico.

Katy couldn’t wait to share the sight-seeing shots with her fans.

“Today I went to the Teotihuacan pyramids. It was amazing (sic),” she gushed.

“I believe I just had one of the best days of my earth life.”

Katy has been enjoying a lot of success of late. The singer picked up the coveted Video of the Year prize for her track Firework at the MTV Video Music Awards. Her song E.T. which features Kanye West saw her win two other awards, Best Collaboration and Best SFX (Special Affects).
