Britney Spears thinks playing shows abroad is “so much more exciting” than performing in America.

The singer has been taking to the stage on her Femme Fatale tour this year. She’s already performed in her native US and in Canada and is preparing to travel to Europe.

Britney can’t wait for her foreign fans to see what she has in store as she knows how much they’re going to enjoy the show.

“I think the crowds overseas are just more excited and more pleased that you’re there. It’s really amazing, it’s so much more exciting. I’m not sure why, they just have more energy and they’re very welcoming,” she told Glamour magazine.

Britney has been in the music industry for over a decade. She’s extremely proud of her longevity, even though things haven’t always been easy.

The star suffered a meltdown in 2008 and her personal and professional affairs are now looked after by a team of people including her father Jamie Spears.

There is speculation part of the conservatorship might be lifted next year, but Britney doesn’t talk about it. She prefers to concentrate on the positive things in her life.

“I seriously think [my success] is because I love what I do and I don’t take myself too seriously. I’m on this journey and I’ve had so much fun so far, and I genuinely have a blast,” she said. “And I really don’t listen to critics or the haters or anything like that. I’m just in a really good place right now and really excited to be where I am.”
