Jennifer Lopez admits that she got into her first “fight” with her fellow American Idol judges.

Jennifer has signed on to be a judge for the eleventh season of American Idol along with Randy Jackson and rocker Steven Tyler. The panel worked together on the show in its previous season. Although things were harmonious between them in the tenth season, Jennifer believes that the trio got into their first disagreement during a recent taping.

"I think me, Randy and Steven got into our first fight," J.Lo told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show this morning. "I got really, really upset. There was this girl that came in and sang and she was amazing, amazing. And Steven, as he will do when we're doing our auditions, he'll ask her for another song. I was like, I was surprised because I was ready to vote. I was like, 'This girl is amazing.' "

Randy and Steven were unimpressed with the contestant’s second performance and didn’t send her through to the next round.

Jennifer was not happy with their decision and urged producers to air the audition in a future episode so that Randy and Steven would view their error. Ryan noticed that tension during the failed contestant’s audition was palpable.

"The thing I recognised from that scene was there was blood boiling for one of the first times. I really felt like your blood was boiling," Ryan noted during his interview with Jennifer.

American Idol is currently on tour hosting open auditions for the next season.
