David Hasselhoff is planning to sing Broadway songs on a new tour.
The American star has worked in TV and also enjoyed a successful music career. He famously sang Looking for Freedom from the remnants of the Berlin Wall on New Year’s Eve 1989, a month after it was demolished.
David now seems keen to reprise his singing career and has announced he’s planning a new show. He won’t be performing his own tracks though, preferring well-known numbers from Broadway musicals.
“I’m putting together and negotiating a deal to do [a UK TV show], followed by a national tour singing the songs of Broadway,” he explained.
That’s not all David has in the pipeline at the moment. He has won a role in American drama Sons of Anarchy, about people who are members of an outlaw motorbike club. He’s portraying a porn king and can’t wait to get stuck into the role.
“Who wouldn’t want to play a porno king? It’ll be fun…” he laughed to British newspaper The Daily Mirror.
