Katy Perry wouldn’t be surprised if Russell Brand admitted he was an alien.
The American singer and British comedian married in October last year following a whirlwind romance. Russell is renowned for his outrageous behaviour, and was previously addicted to drugs and sex.
Katy admits life with her spouse is never dull, and during a Twitter chat with fans she revealed she sometimes wonders if he’s from another planet.
“What is the first thing you would do if you found out your husband was an alien?” one admirer asked.
Katy quickly replied: “Wouldn't be surprised!”
Luckily for Russell, Katy also admitted having an affinity for extra-terrestrials. She was online talking to people because she couldn’t sleep, and dared fans to ask her fun questions.
One wondered whether the pop star believes in “ghosts or aliens”, and she responded: “BOTH! But Aliens more (sic)!”
Katy and Russell have been plagued with rumours about their relationship since they tied the knot. With Russell spending time on films sets and Katy completing a tour it’s been suggested they are struggling to see each other.
The 26-year-old musician added fuel to the fire when she was asked to describe her life at the moment. “Limbo,” she simply replied.
She also revealed it was The Beach Boys who inspired her to get into music, while her favourite hairstyle is a “high ponytail with extensions” just like Madonna favoured in the 80s.
