Tony Bennett will perform live on the Home Shopping Network (HSN) to celebrate his 85th birthday and the release of his new album Duets II. The program starts at 7 PM (EDT).
Sandy Conrad, Senior Vice President of Merchandising for HSN, said "Welcoming Tony Bennett for the launch of his new Duets II CD collection gives us the chance to provide our customers an exclusive opportunity to connect with one of the world's greatest talents."


BBC Radio 1 is coming to Serius/XM Radio. The satellite system will add the iconic British station to their lineup as part of their agreement with the BBC to broadcast content. Programming will be time-shifted five hours so that it is heard in the U.S. in the same timeframe as its original broadcast in Britain.


Slash announced on his Twitter that he and wife Perla will be renewing their marriage vows for their tenth anniversary. This despite the fact that the guitarist filed for divorce last summer but has since reconciled with his wife.


Boston says that their new album is 85% complete and will attempt to recapture the sound of the original band of the 70's, including vocals by the late Brad Delp.
Delp, who sang lead with the group until his death in 2007, had laid down tacks for the new release before he committed suicide. As far as the music, a statement from the group says "an intentional effort by principal songwriter and producer Tom Scholz to capture the recognizable sound and energy of his original releases, combined with the musical sophistication expected from exceptional players and vocalists, all performing within the traditional framework of the well-known Boston sound."


Scott Ian of Anthrax has a small roll in an upcoming episode of AMC's The Walking Dead as a zombie.


Patti Smith and playwright John Logan are working on a screenplay for the movie version of Patti's National Book Award winning Just Kids. The book is about Smith's friendship with the artist Robert Mapplethorpe.
Smith had previously co-written the play Cowboy Mouth with Sam Shepard while Logan has written the Tony Award winner Red along with the screenplays for movies such as Sweeny Todd, Gladiator and Rango.


AC/DC now has their own line of wine. There are four different selections, Back in Black Shiraz, You Shook Me All Night Long Moscato, Highway to Hell Cabernet Sauvignon and Hells Bells Sauvignon Blanc.
