Kelly Rowland changed things “real quick” when she realised she was dating the wrong sort of men.
The singer has previously romanced rapper Nelly and got engaged to American footballer Roy Williams at 25, although they later split. At the moment the 30-year-old is “dating and happy” but won’t elaborate on her relationship status.
Kelly’s parents split around 20 years ago and she hasn’t been in touch with her father since. She worried that would affect her view on men, but worked hard to ensure it didn’t.
“When I noticed myself starting to date a-hole guys, and unavailable guys, I changed that real quick,” she explained. “I definitely want to get married and I definitely want to have babies.”
Kelly is renowned for her lean body, which she works hard to keep in shape. She’s had a boob job and is open about that, revealing it made her feel much more confident.
“I just wanted to be able to fill a B-cup. I wasn’t even an A before; I didn’t even fit on the alphabet,” she laughed to the British edition of Grazia magazine.
“If something started drooping [in the future], I might pin it up, but for now I’m happy.”
Kelly has been unveiled as a new judge on British talent competition The X Factor. She joins Take That star Gary Barlow, music industry bigwig Louis Walsh and N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos on the panel.
Kelly has enjoyed every minute of filming so far, although there have been some embarrassing moments. She has a crush on Gary and finds it hard to speak to him without blushing, even though she knows he’s married.
“He is so handsome and so charming,” she gushed. “But I know he’s married – I’ve met his wife and she is lovely. And girl, she has a nice piece of husband at home!”
It’s not just Gary who is the object of the singer’s affections. She also loves Louis, and finds it hard to keep her hands of the grey-haired Irishman.
“I love Louis. I love his little booty – it’s so petite,” she giggled. “When I hug him, I always slide my hands down to his butt.”
