Hilary Duff expecting

Hilary Duff is up the duff. The 23-year pop star has announced she is expecting her first child.

The news comes on the first anniversary of her marriage to ice hocket player Mike Comrie.

At her official website she wrote, "I can't believe it has already been a year, time really flies when you're having fun!

"We also want to share the exciting news that... BABY MAKES THREE!!! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives."

Duff fans can look forward to seeing her in two films. ‘The Story Of Bonnie and Clyde’ is an adaptation of the ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ story. She will play Bonnie. ‘She Wants Me’ is about a young Hollywood actress named Kim Powers.

Both movies will be released in 2012.
