Miley Cyrus buys mansion

Miley Cyrus has bought a sprawling $3.9 million mansion in California.

The 18-year-old singer-and-actress is trading in her previous $3.4 million home in Toluca Lake for an updated home in Studio City.

Her new place is still close to her parents’ home but far enough away for the teen to maintain her independence.

“She moved in a few months ago,” a source close to Miley told E! Online about the home bought by the Sunshine Girl Trust, which the star has used to purchase properties before.

“She decorated the place in her own unique style – very funky.”

The home is more than spacious enough for Miley with five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a saltwater pool, gym and panoramic views of the city.

The hilltop estate is “the perfect celebrity hideaway” according to the home’s website.

Miley was recently seen chain smoking while on vacation with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.
