Theatrical rock legend Meat Loaf has big musical plans, including collaborations with Lil Jon, Chuck D of Public Enemy, Reba McEntire and Garth Brooks.

Meat Loaf spoke to Billboard about his grandiose plans for the next 18 months.

The first album is what Meat Loaf called “the most personal record I've ever made” – Hell In A Handbasket – which is finished and will be released early next year.

While he insists that album will be “definitely rock”, he’s also working on some music with rappers Chuck D (who he met through son-in-law Scott Ian from Anthrax) and Lil Jon (who he met on reality TV show Celebrity Apprentice).

But wait, there’s more. He said he’s also nine songs into another studio album and has already started drum tracking.

You want more Meat Loaf? Well, he’s planning a Christmas album for 2012 called Hot Holidays with guest appearances from Reba McEntire and Garth Brooks.
