Ellie Goulding loves being a pop star as she gets to meet her icons.
The British pop singer has had a great year career wise, and even performed at the reception following Britain’s Prince William and Catherine Middleton’s wedding back in April. Despite this huge honour, she admits that one of her proudest moments is meeting former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff.
“My favourite moment was having my picture taken with The Hoff, Clint Eastwood, Usher and Tinie Tempah at Coachella this year,” she told Glamour. “Without knowing who they were, my friend shouted, ‘I’ll get everyone together – come here, CLINT!’ He was so lovely and Usher called me ‘Baby’ in a very sexy way. He’s such a charmer.”
Ellie was asked to perform at the royal wedding after Prince William saw her at a concert last year. The songstress can’t get over how kind-hearted the newly-married royal is.
“Prince William was just really gushing, and like, 'I really enjoyed the show'. He is so nice, just genuinely the nicest human being,” Ellie recently revealed.
