Snoop Dogg will “never again” play soccer against “vicious” David Beckham.

The 39-year-old US rapper is good pals with British soccer ace David, 36, who currently plays for Los Angeles Galaxy. The pair have enjoyed a kick about in the past, although Snoop has no plans to instigate another game as his ego took a bashing during their last match.

"I played him before and he's vicious. I went in goal. Never again,” he smiled.

"I've seen him kick a ball from 50ft and it go in the goal six times in a row. Woosh, bing, woosh, bing. He knows something I'd never ever get to know."

Snoop, who is father to three kids with wife Shante Taylor; boys Corde, 17, and Cordell, 13, and 12-year-old daughter Cori, is equally reluctant to play sports with his sons. The rapper says the teenagers have become a great force to be reckoned with.

"I try to keep them in touch but I'm a pushover, man. My boys are obsessed with football - American football. One is a senior and the other is a freshman,” he told British newspaper The Sun.

"They're tough, man. I don't take them on in the garden, they're too big for me."

Now that Snoop is more of a spectator when it comes to sport, he’s looking forward to the London 2012 Olympic Games. He has his sights set on attending a volleyball match, and admits there are certain sports he won’t be rushing to see.

"I can't wait for it. I'm a big, big sports fan. I love it," he gushed.

"I'm not into badminton. I don't like those shuttle things, man. I'll go to the, what is it, the dressage? Yeah, I'd go over that. Or no, let's go to volleyball."
