Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 has announced the title and release date of their new album on Google+.

Gigwise notes that the frontman posted up the details in a post on the new, mostly-barren social network Google+.

He wrote, "The new Blink-182 album will be titled 'Neighborhoods' and is tentatively scheduled for release on September 27."

Last week the band debuted their first new music in eight years with the single ‘Up All Night’ on LA radio station KROQ, where he first hinted at the title.

'Up All Night' went on sale on iTunes last Saturday.

Neighborhoods will be the bands sixth studio album, and the first since their 2003 self-titled album, which went platinum in the US and UK, and double platinum in Australia and Canada.
