Fans of Selena Gomez – lead singer of Selena Gomez and The Scene and star of Disney Channel's The Wizards of Waverly Place – get the rare chance to meet her, in person, when she visits HMV’s flagship Oxford Street store in London’s West End on Tuesday 5th July 2011 for a signing to session to launch her new album, ‘When The Sun Goes Down’.
Selena will be at the store from 5.00 pm, to meet fans and sign copies of the new album which is officially released the previous day Monday 4th July 2011 through Hollywood Records/Universal.
Selena Gomez was initially best known as Alex Russo on the Emmy Award winning Disney Channel Original Series, ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’, where Selena is one of three siblings with magical powers in Manhatten’s Waverly Place. With her band, Selena Gomez and The Scene, she has released two Gold selling studio albums, ‘Kiss & Tell’ and ‘A Year Without Rain’.
Due to limited time available access to the signing queue will be strictly limited. 400 wristbands will be issued from the store on the day of the event from 9.00 am on a first-come first-served basis, no reservations, one per customer only.
