The 57-year-old actress - who has four children, Bridget, 27, Jake, 25, Eliot, 20, who is known as Coco, and Giacomo, 15, with the singer – explained despite being a couple for more than 30 years, she and her husband still have a very active sex life.
She said: "Sting and I do have a lovely time in bed."
However, Trudie – who met the musician when he was still married to first wife Frances Tomelty – insists she doesn't feel guilty about the way the couple got together, and says she is "even more" in love with Sting today as she ever was.
She added: "I believe I'm a good person. I think I've made lots of mistakes in my life. I certainly don’t think falling in love with Sting was a mistake. We just fell in love, passionately in love. I'm still as in love with him today as I ever was. Even more.
"There were a lot of sad feelings of remorse around that time. But what can I say? We love each other madly and I don't know what the formula for it is. There's certainly no secret. It just seems to work."
