Vest-ival (where the dress code for the day is “your best vest”) takes place on Saturday May 21st from 10am through to 1am at Jimmys Farm (from the TV series of the same name) Pannington Hall Lane, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP9 2AR . Camping is available on site.
Vestival is a festival of football, comedy and music. Headlined by Annie Mac (Radio 1) and with bands including Toploader and Jersey Budd. Comedy is headlined by Tom Rosenthal (C4 Friday Night Dinners) and throughout the day there will be various football related activities with former pro’s including Dion Dublin and Darren Huckerby on site along with football freestylers such as Dan Magness. With an inflatable 5 a side pitch with games between the ex-pro’s and the bands / comedians, there will also be coaching sessions from Norwich FC. The FA Cup will also be on site for those who wish to have their picture taken with it!
The event is in aid of the following two, UK registered charities : Football Action (http://www.footballaction.org.uk) and Hannah’s Orphanage (http://www.hannasorphanage.org.uk/).
