It was one year ago today that Bret Michaels was rushed to the hospital with a brain hemorrhage. Now he is suffering from a eye injury that was brought on by a fan.
The Poison singer was did a surprise appearance in Panama City, FL for spring break. During the show, someone in the crowd threw a glass with alcohol in it that hit Michaels in the head and something scratched his eye.
Michaels started by trying some eye drops but the pain got worse so he sought medical attention. Three doctors later, he had a diagnosis of a corneal ulcer but not before he had a (get ready to cringe) shot into his eye.
Bret told the Birmingham News "I got a shot in my eye yesterday. They numb your eye completely. They don’t even have a remedy for what’s wrong with my eye. They’re using this crazy stuff in my eye that they invented."
Nonetheless, he says that he will be doing all his shows including one tonight back at the city of the crime, Panama City Beach, FL.
