Moody folk sensation Bon Iver has announced the follow-up to his breakthrough debut.
Bon Iver (aka Justin Vernon) released his debut album For Emma, Forever Ago in 2008 and became a cult sensation, even being picked up by Kanye West for two tracks on his My Dark Beautiful Twisted Fantasy album.
His second album will be self-titled and features session musicians who have contributed to albums by The National, Lucinda Williams, Arcade Fire, Tom Waits and more.
He has also brought Volcano Choir collaborators Jim Schoenecker and Tom Wincek to help on production.
The ten-track album will be released on June 21 through indie label Jagjaguwar.
