Primal Scream and Chipmunk added to line-up for Guernsey Festival of Performing Arts!
The Island of Guernsey is set to host the inaugural ‘Guernsey Festival of Performing Arts’ over the weekend of Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd July 2011. And with new additions Primal Scream and Chipmunk joining the line-up the weekend will provide something for music fans of all generations.
Primal Scream really need no introduction. Their seminal 1991 album ‘Screamadelica’ won the first ever Mercury Music Prize and received critical acclaim. Guernsey will no doubt welcome the alternative rockers with open arms as they perform their most famous body of work.
MOBO award winner Chipmunk has set the UK charts alight with no less than five No.1 singles and a debut album charting at No.2. With his second album on the way he is sure to be hot property once again in 2011.
