Sheryl Crow isn’t worried about getting old - because age is just a “state of mind”.

The 49-year-old musician – who has two adopted sons, Wyatt, three, and 11-month-old Levi – isn’t concerned about hitting her 50s because she intends to keep a young outlook on life.

She said: “Age is such an indefinable experience. I look at my grandmother when she was my age - she had boobs down to her waist and looked like an old lady. At 65, my mom is as fun, cool and beautiful as ever. I think it’s just a state of mind.”

One thing Sheryl doesn’t intend to do in the next few years is leave her Nashville home.

The 'All I Wanna Do' singer enjoys visiting Los Angeles but she wouldn’t want to live there because she is settled where she is.

She told the May issue of Prevention magazine: “I love Los Angeles. I am so happy to see my friends there, but after four or five days, I’m like, ‘Let’s go home.’ Nashville feels more reality-based. I feel centred there. There’s a connection between me and nature.”
