Warring brothers Justin and Dan Hawkins have called an end to their feud and are set to hit the road for a series of concerts, including a number of festival dates.

According to The Sun newspaper, the two rock ‘n’ roll siblings are being joined by the other original members, bassist Frankie Poullain and drummer Ed Graham.

The ‘Growing on Me’ rockers are also set to go into the studio to record a third album – their first release since 2005 flop ‘One Way Ticket to Hell... and Back’.

News of the band’s reunion coincides with a new website www.theactualdarkness.com being launched and a Darkness Facebook page.

Rumours first surfaced the band were going to reform last year with the siblings – who took the charts by storm with their first LP, 2003’s ‘Permission to Land’ - reported to have started work on new material.

The spandex-clad rock group split in 2006 when singer Justin left to battle drink and drug problems, leading to him and guitarist Dan not speaking to each other.

Bass player Frankie had already quit in May 2005, citing "musical differences" as the reason and was replaced by Richie Edwards.
