Cyndi Lauper Grammy performance revealed

One of the most amazing performances of the whole Grammy Awards was not shown on the national TV broadcast. During the pre-broadcast award ceremony, when the vast majority of the awards are given, breaks were taken for three performances.

One of those brought together Cyndi Lauper, Betty Wright, Mavis Staples and Maria Muldaur to salute women in the blues with guitar assistance from Buddy Guy and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. It was a mesmerizing moment and certainly belonged in the network show. This is their performance of Willie Dixon's Wang Dang Doodle.
