To coincide with Valentine’s Day Last.fm compiled a list of the 30 most listened to love songs. The site found that scrobbles of these songs have soared around mid-February. So, it would seem love is still very much in the air.
The three most popular artists for the lothario’s among you are, Lionel Richie who has four of his hits in Last.fm’s top 30, along with Michael Bolton and Rod Stewart who have three and two hits respectively. The findings also point to the generalisation that the old ones are the best as the top 30 includes hits by the Bee Gees and Barry Manilow.
