Chart-topping success, Natasha Bedingfield, is calling on women across the UK to showcase their vocal talent to the world and enter ‘Avon Voices’. Budding stars only have until 13 February 2011 to upload their 30 second video clip at www.avonvoices.com
The global online singing and song writing talent search, launched to celebrate Avon’s 125th anniversary, is widely supported by music industry greats. Celebrity judges include Black Eyed Peas singing sensation Fergie, international artist Delta Goodrem and UK judge Natasha Bedingfield. Contestants are competing for the opportunity to record a professionally produced album that will be available to buy internationally.
Natasha Bedingfield comments:
“I'm honoured to be involved with Avon Voices as a judge. Given my British roots, of course I'll be keeping a particularly close eye on UK entries! I'm looking for flair and individuality - so if you have either of these, I would urge you to use this fantastic opportunity to make your voice heard, by entering Avon Voices.”
The Avon Voices celebrity panel will announce the 197 first round global contenders on International Women’s Day (8 March 2011), with the successful UK singers and songwriters being treated to a glamorous video shoot in Paris. Finalists will then be treated to professional coaching, makeovers and the opportunity to star in a video, before performing at New York’s world-renowned Carnegie Hall.
