Canadian rap sensation Drake works with Brit musicians Florence Welch and The xx’s Jamie Smith.

NME reports that Young Money rapper Drake is taking inspiration from British indie types.

Smith told NME that he’s been in the studio with Drake working on material for the follow-up to the rapper’s breakthrough debut of 2010 Thank Me Later, which is currently going under the title of Take Care.

Drake told the BBC, “Jamie is probably one of the most exciting producers I've ever heard.”

Drake is also set to appear on the next album from Florence And The Machine.

He met Florence Welch at the MTV Video Music Awards in LA and she joined him onstage during his London show.

There are so far no release dates for the collaborations.
