Rock and Roll music legend is reported to be okay after collapsing on stage in Chicago on New Year’s Day.

The 84-year old rocker was performing at the Congress Theater when he slumped over a keyboard and was taken off stage.

After regaining his composure, Berry went back on stage to attempt to continue the show and managed to give the audience his famous duck-walk, but then once again felt unwell as was treated by paramedics.

Berry was complaining about not feeling well earlier in the day but had refused medical treatment.

He left the show and returned to his hotel room. He did not go to a hospital.

On Sunday, Berry left Chicago by plane and returned home to St Louis.

The next scheduled performance by Berry is in St Louis at the Blueberry Hill nightclub on January 19, 2011. Berry has a monthly residency at his hometown club.
