Nick Lachey has hinted he may get married in Tuscany on New Year’s Eve (31.12.10).
The ‘Sing-Off’ presenter announced his engagement to girlfriend of four years Vanessa Minnillo last month and recently revealed the couple will spend Christmas with their families before heading to Europe and possibly tying the knot.
In an appearance on ‘The Rachel Ray Show’, he said: “We're going to be in Cincinnati with family, and hopefully having a white Christmas. We're going to be in Tuscany for New Year's. Who knows, we may be married in Tuscany, too!"
Although the nuptials could be taking place in a matter of weeks, Nick is not involved in the planning process and has left his 30-year-old fiancee completely in charge.
The 37-year-old hunk revealed: "I just basically told her, I said, 'Tell me where to be, when to be there and what to wear, and I'll be there.'"
Nick shared the couple’s happy news with the world on twitter last month revealing he “couldn’t be happier”.
He tweeted: “Hey all. If anyone's heard the rumours of my engagement, they are absolutely true! Vanessa and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for all the love.”
If Nick does marry on New Year’s Eve he will most likely beat his ex-wife Jessica Simpson – who is engaged to former NFL star Eric Johnson - down the aisle.
