The former Spice Girls singer took her mother Ana-Maria to see hit musical ‘Jersey Boys’ in London’s West End theatre district with her aristocrat lover Henry Beckwith’s wealthy father and mother, property developer Sir John and Lady Beckwith.

During the interval at the performance, which was staged at the Prince Edward theatre, the entire party were taken to the VIP room for refreshments, while after the show Geri arranged for everyone to meet the cast.

A source told the Daily Express newspaper: “Geri and Henry went to chat to the cast and their parents were left to mill around. They were chatting to each other but it all seemed rather polite.”

The 38-year-old star – who has been dating Henry, 31, for 21 months since March 2009 – came up with the idea of going to see the show, which is about 60s band The Four Seasons, as a way for everyone to meet without there being too much pressure.

Another source told The Sun newspaper: “Geri was nervous but thought it would break the ice for them to see a show. They all had a great time and Geri was giddy with excitement.”

Earlier this year, Sir John revealed his son had initially found it difficult to adjust to his celebrity girlfriend’s show biz lifestyle when they started dating.

He said: "It's very hard being with someone who gets red-carpet treatment all around the world. It's like being Prince Philip. She is great fun, though - full of energy."
