Lamb of God bass player John Campbell has revealed that his band is still banned from performing at the iconic L.A. arena The Forum.

Speaking at the Face The Music conference in Melbourne on Saturday, Campbell told the story about how the venue is owned by the Faithful Central Bible Church and banned Lamb of God because of their previous name Burn The Priest.

Lamb of God, who are currently on tour in Australia with Metallica, has been banned from The Forum since 2005.

The Forum was the venue where Michael Jackson rehearsed for the This is It tour right up until his death. You may have seen it in Foo Fighters ‘All My Life’ video. Interior shots were also used in the 2002 movie ‘Like Mike’.

Lamb of God formed as Burn The Priest in Richmond, Virginia in 1990. They became Lamb of God in 2000.
