A while back, director Christopher Mills (Interpol, Modest Mouse, The Secret Machines) came to Metric with his ideas for using "Collect Call" from Metric's album Fantasies.
Mill's meticulously animated piece tells the haunting tale of a young woman trapped in "a dark dream in an alternate reality," and was received with enthusiasm during its world premiere at the Bravo!FACT Shorts Under The Stars screening this past weekend in Toronto.
Mills is known for his experimental style that he describes as, "Rumpled Country Art Doctor Antiques Lover Who Thinks Out Of The Box Yet Imagines Vast Worlds Inside It." We hope you enjoy this as much as we do!
